Physician Voices are Powerful
We are the Physicians Grassroots Network.
We connect physicians nationwide, empowering them to advocate for smarter health care solutions. The expertise of those who deliver care every day is critical to shaping better policies for our nation’s health care system.
Our Priorities
We advocate for policies that protect the patient-physician relationship and strengthen the health care system through practical, physician-informed solutions.
Medicare Payment Reform
Cuts, temporary measures, and partial fixes to the Medicare physician payment system are not sustainable and make it challenging for physicians to keep the lights on. Congress must develop a long-term solution.
Prior Authorization
Insurers overuse prior authorization, creating burdensome, inefficient processes that harm patient care and contribute to physician burnout. We're working to fix the system.
Drug Price Transparency
Rising, unexplained drug prices put essential prescriptions out of reach for many and leave both patients and physicians in the dark. We’re calling for accountability in the drug pricing system.
Opioid Epidemic
The nation's opioid epidemic has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives. Physicians across the country are stepping up as leaders to help prevent and reduce misuse, addiction, overdose, and death from opioids.
